This is my homework and please tell me where you got your information from

Chosen Answer:

When the weather is unusual or even slightly varies from the average it gives the media something else to report.
Severe storms can cause the delivery of printed media to be disrupted, and can cause aerials to become misaligned and hence cause disruption to radio, tv and even wi-fi signals.
Flooding can cause electricity substations to fail and hence any media reliant on electricity will suffer.
Bright sunlight can cause screens to become unreadable due to the effects of glare.
